After studying at the prestigious London College of Fashion, Richard has collaborated globally with a number of leading recording artists including: The Horrors, Nicki Minaj, Eve, Kelis, Pharrell Williams, Lupe Fiasco, Azealia Banks, Macy Gray, Kano, Ms Dynamite, Roots Manuva, Alesha Dixon and Katy B.
Shoyemi’s individualistic approach to fashion has seen the East London fasionista profiled in The Guardian, Metro newspaper, I-D, Grazia, LFW Magazine, Suzie Bubble Blog, Mirror, Notion Magazine and Featured artist on BBC Radio, Myspace alongside Kelly Osbourne, Rihanna and MTV About to blow hosted by BBC Radio 1 presenter Trevor Nelson .
He has assisted the legendary Patti Wilson on numerous campaigns as well as styled for leading International Editorial magazines: Italian Vogue, Oyster magazine, I-D Magazine and Lusso. Richard went onto becoming Fashion Editor of RWD Magazine & Fashion Director of Super Super Magazine at the age of 18.
Now 25 Richard styling has now based him in both NYC and London , Richard has worked worldwide as a head fashion stylist for Coutts banks campaign, Styled for Nicki Minaj internationaly on many projects including the 40th Aniversary of the American Music Awards, Celebrity image consulting at the power house that is Fendi and has worked alongside world renowned photographer Miles Aldridge.
You’ve probably seen, heard of, or even read about Richard Shoyemi, but there are few who possess the track record, tenacity and talent of this young British stylist.
